My Opinion:

I CAN'T WAIT TO WATCH IT!
Really, I can't. I am such a HUGE fan of DBZ and when I heard of this... I almost cried. Well, I scream first, then almost cry...in that order. :)
Anyways, there is a lot of things I want to talk about for DBZ: Battle of Gods; especially, that it is canon. And for those who do not know what canon means, it means that it can come from the orginial manga (no fillers!). Also, it means that the artist created it (I know Akira Toriyama didn't make a manga out of it, but he did created the plot and the new characters in the movie).  Also, that there is some interesting facts and rumors about the movie :D

Truths and Facts

1) I meant that the movie is canon which it is true. It is taken place after the Majin Buu Saga and between the chapters 517 and 518 of the manga.  Akira Toriyama created the two new antagonists: Bills and Wiss. Also, many characters are coming back as well. So we will enjoy the old and new characters : including a drunk and thrusting Gohan, a new hair cut Krillin, and many more XD (But in all seriousness, they will be back :) )
2) The story starts with Bulma's 40th birthday party. And I guess maybe you know who crash the party *cough* Bills and Wiss *cough*
3) The reason why Bills wanted to fight Goku because an oracle told him that the opponent that defeated Frieza will appear before him. And so Bills tracks down to find Goku. Basically, he wants to defeat the strongest person in the whole world.
4) Like I mention before, the two new characters are Bills and Wiss. Bills is the main antagonist who is a thin, purple cat
with human-like behavior (walking on two legs, can speak and communicate). He wears Eyptian-looking clothing which are blue, gold, and black. His main power
is balance and destruction; which his name is Bills: God of Destruction. Also,
his features are similar to the Eyptian Goddess of Destruction: Sekhmet.
Wiss (or Whis) is the ally of Bills and the

The Oracle Fish (Oracle Fish doesn't remember telling Bills about Bills facing the mighty opponent. However, Bills did.)
(Left) Wiss and (Right) Bills
second antagonist in the movie. He is shown to have identical colors and similar clothing to Bills. He has long, straight white hair and he is known to hold a spector on his right hand and a blue ring around his neck. Also, he is the Bills's teacher. Unlike Bills, his powers are unknown at the moment.
5) in the trailer, you can obviously see Bills kicking everyone's ass including Vegeta, Gotenks, Gohan, Majin Buu, and Goku; in Super Saiyan 3! However, since Wiss is Bill's teacher, I don't know if Wiss is stronger than Bills since the trailer shown Bills fighting with everyone.
6) Vegeta knows Bills and Wiss. I don't really know how, but yeah Vegeta knows them.
7) At the end of the trailer, you can hear the words: Super Saiyan God. And supposely, it may defeat Bills in the movie. Since DBZ GT was non-canon, Super Saiyan 4 is not the stronger form or even a real form. Also, I believe Goku willobtain Super Saiyan God. I don't think Vegeta will achieve that form in this movie. (happens all the time -.-)
It looks...total badass :3 (Um...also, this is what Super Saiyan God looks like!)

RUMORS (and Humors)
Actually, some of these are interesting :)

(Left) Emperor Pilaf, (Middle) Mai, and (Right) Shu
1) This is one of the most interesting and thought of (I guess) rumor about the movie. I notice that Emperor Pilaf is in the movie. First, I didn't think twice about it, but then I notice people commenting about it in the internet. They believe Akira Toriyama put them in the movie to make fun of DB GT since Emperor Pilaf and his henchmen were the cost of the plot for GT. However, in
the movie they look like they were simply there for nonsense. Well, I can see that happening because he didn't create GT. GT was non-canon and none of it was his work. I think I heard that Toriyama hated GT and was disappointed.  To be honest, I would do this sort of thing. Especially, if it ruins my series. :P However, there is no evidence that he done that. So it's a rumor :P
Picture
2) This rumor is spreading around; especially, from the fans. Supposely, if the movie is really good and the fans like it, then Akira Toriyama is going to make more after the Buu Saga. Like I said before, it is a rumor. But...But...

I hope it's happens. I know a lot of fans might be indifference, but I believe in Toriyama :) I really do. Maybe he still has amazing stories or characters he wants to create, but maybe he thinks that he already finish DBZ and doesn't need to expand it. If this rumor becames real, I would definitely try to read it :D And I'm thinking it might come true because he created this movie!!!
Sorry, I'm getting all excited by this XD

3) I really hope this doesn't come true, but if Funimation dub this movie, they will have new voice actors... Seriously... Lately, Funimation does not have good anime like they did before. So far their only good dubbed anime will be Hetalia. However, I really like the voice actors for DBZ, I grew up with the voice of each individual characters. And I watch the Ocean Dub of DBZ and I HATE it!!! I only watch one random episode and I hated Vegeta's voice -.- Seriously, he is supposed to sound arrogant and stubborn not like he was a former smoker...
Anyways, if anyone should dubbed the movie, it should be TeamFourStar. If you don't know who they are, they are the creators of DBZ: Abridged. Abridged is making a parody of the anime, cartoon, etc. If you didn't see their series, then watch it! It's hilarious :D So I changed my mind, I want TeamFourStar to dubbed the movie :P

Noneoftheless, I am going to watch the movie in March 30, 2013... Well, it's gonna be released in Japan, so I'm gonna stalk the internet and hunt it down... XD Wish me luck!!! And if anyone has doubt, just watch it :) If you don't like it, then you don't like it! But it doesn't hurt to try. If anyone have some interesting facts or rumors, I will love to read your comments!
Until later, have a wonderful day :)

RomeoXJuliet (the anime)

RomeoXJuliet (the manga)

RomeoXJuliet: Fantasy, Romance, and Drama
Did I love it or hate it?
Eh...I have mix feelings for both the anime and the manga.

(* means "so you know")
*I prefer watching the Subbed better.
*I don't like youtube, but youtube has the series, so why not? But I bet you can watch it in AnimeSeason or some other website
.Reasons I Like RxJ:
----I like that the series didn't feel like it was rushing at any point or time in the episode. Even though it only had 24 episodes (which it could be short for most anime), I kept watching it with breeze from the beginning to the end.

----The plot was creative that they added some fantasy (flying horses and a flying Neo Verona) and having Juliet dressing up like a boy because Montague is looking for the last Capulet. Also, Juliet (Odin is her guy name) will be the Red Whirlwind and become the symbol of  rebellion  against the misused power! (Very nice ;D)   And I felt like if they replace the names of Romeo, Juliet, Mercutio, Tybalt, and other Shakespeare's characters, it would have the same concept of Romeo and Juliet (forbidden love and tragedy.) But I really nice the spin that they took. Either someone will like or hate it.

---I like the atmosphere and the color of the anime. It would be light at times like when Romeo and Juliet flirt. (They act like two little shy kids :3 ) Also, they were times when the anime was dark especially at the end of the series. And I love the background of the anime. It was well-drawn and it was really beautiful :) Especially how they design the irises, the skies, the buildings and castles, and the countryside.
RomeoXJuliet: Episode One (Subbed)

RomeoXJuliet: Episode One (Dubbed)
---My favorite part of watching RxJ was listening to the ending (Cyclone -サイクロン- by 12012.) I absolutely love it. It's intense, quick pace, and it has an amazing beat :D I remember when I started watching the anime, I would never skip the ending.

Reason I Didn't Like RxJ:
The only problem I had with RxJ was the how the characters were drawn. Sometimes, I would look at their feature and wonder why it was be sharp, why is Odin's hair look choppy in the front, and how come the animation looks sloppy at the last few episodes.

HOWEVER... I really like watching RxJ. I would give it 4 Stars of 5. It is enjoyable to watch and; honestly, I'll watch it again if I feel like it.
The only thing I recommend is that you watch it with an openmind. I know it's definitely different the play. However, it's no different when the remake the play to the move: Romeo+Juliet. (Actually, I didn't like the movie) XD But you get my point.

Picture
*It's hard to find a manga website to read RxJ (cause it's license now; which it's stupid -.-) So you can buy it or play a scavengar hunt with it.
Reasons I like RxJ:
---Compare to the anime, I really, really, really LOVE the art. I absolutely love how COM design the characters and the background and I love the manga art for Romeo and Juliet better than the anime. I was really jealous how they were drawn because how flawless it looks. It convince the readers (me) to believe that this is what Romeo and Juliet would have  been imagine by William Shakespeare himself. (If you didn't know, I judge but the looks XD opps) Futhermore, it made the characters more natural in the story and has this sense of unique even though it's Shakespeare's story.

---The plot was still the same as the anime. (Note: the anime was made first before
the manga. That's why I talked about the anime first :) ) I like that they haven't tried to mess around or switch anything that made the manga different from the anime. Yeah, there was minor twist that wasn't exactly in the anime, but it didn't dramatically change the outcome of the whole story.

Reasons I Didn't like RxJ:
---The MAJOR downfall I had with this manga compare to the anime was how fast it was when I turn the pages. It wasn't really satisfying how quick the plot ended and that it only 2 volumes. (SERIOUSLY, 2 volumes.) I wish they could have expand it because if I hadn't watch the anime first then the manga, I wouldn't understand the plot at all. You wouldn't know that it they in a falling land or Juliet would actually had to die to save the land or actually know that the tree was dying in the first place.

---Also, I did enjoy the fighting scenes, but there was mutiple confusions that I couldn't understand. In my opinion, I feel like when they drew the fighting scenes you can't tell the difference between which sword was which when they clash or when they tried a close up, it was lines and awkward angles. It took me a while to figure out what was going on by squinting and reread those pages.

To be fair, I gave it 3 STARS out of 5. I really did enjoy the art and the story, but it was too fast for my taste and I was wishing for more details so it would make readers enjoy and understand this new and unique story of Romeo and Juliet.

If there was one thing I could do with my free time, it's would be to watch anime and read manga. Seriously, I really love the way each characters were drawn, I love the Japanese soundtrack in any anime, and I would consistly try to draw in anime format.

And like a fan, I have my favorites; my top 5 favorites. I mean I have a lot of anime and manga that I love as well, but I think I gotta pick the ones that impact me... I think this might be difficult for me :(

DRAGON BALL Z

FAIRY TAIL

DENGESKI DAISY

FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST

BLEACH

#1: Dragon Ball Z

Picture
Actually, this is a no brainer for me. Dragon Ball Z would definitely be my first choice because that was the anime that got me started with anime. I remember the first time I started watching it like it was yesterday :D

Does anyone ever remember Toonami appearing early like around 3 or 4P.M.? Right after school? Yeah, I think it was Toonami, but anyways...
The first time I saw it was the episode when Vegeto (Goku and Vegeta fusion) was fighting against Super Buu. Usually, I wouldn't want to watch tv because I needed to finish my homework (I know, I know...NERD!!!) But for some odd reason, I sat on my lazy butt and watch it (without knowing the title, characters, or ANYTHING that was going on) and then BAM!!!... Vegeto turned into a chocolate ball. XD I thought it was amazing and that's how I got hook on drugs...I mean anime.

I would say I was about 8 years old, so I had to watch the beginning and back then, there was no recording so I had to watch it by the time it air. (Yeah, I remember the old days when you have to wait and watch it. And if you didn't watch it by that time...then I knew I was screw D:<) I remember my mom telling me that I had to be at bed at 10 and DBZ started at 10....yeah I didn't listen to my mom. I was a terrible child and a daughter. But it was worth it!!! XD It was hard for me to watch the whole series until Toonami aired it in the beginning (Thank You!), but I haven't really...read the manga (but I'm trying to now) so I can't really say which style I like.
Usually, I have my favorite styles like when I like the manga art for Vampire Knight than the anime or the anime art for Naruto than the manga art.  But even if I did read the manga before watching the anime, I would like it both :)

My favorite characters: Vegeta and Goku
My favorite couple: Bulma and Vegeta
My favorite characters are Goku and Vegeta. Okay, I like Vegeta better, but slowly I start to like the other characters like Piccolo, Future Trunks, and Gotenks.
I mean they these have amazing power like Special Beam Cannon (which Piccolo only used maybe 2 or 4 times  and personal it's a great attack move), Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack (which I think it's an awesome move XD), and Instant Transmission (I always wanted that move!!!)
Futhermore, these characters changed some much in the series; especially, Vegeta and Piccolo, because they were evil at first but later turned good. Also, they were still powerful even after turning good (usually in anime, the evil-turn-good character can't do crap even when they were a problem before! :P)
And I couldn't really hate a character in this series because how different they are. And I like that they were different and it made them believable (No seriously, I would cry when someone died at DBZ (maybe not Krillin, Yamacha, or the antagnoist :P) (sorry XD)

And my favorite couple is Vegeta and Bulma. I do like the other pairings like Goku and Chi-CHi, Krillin and Android 18, and Gohan and Videl, but I think they are absolute cute together and they made a difference together :3 And I love the bad boy and good girl romance!
The funny thing is that I hated Vegeta because he was the bad guy and he didn't care about anyone. Until I realize later when Future Trunks told Goku he was Vegeta and Bulma's kid. I was thinking THE HELL...Vegeta and Bulma...no...
But during the three years training before the Androids attacked, I fell in love with the pairing when Bulma took care of Vegeta when he destory the gravity room. Also, I love them even more when Vegeta sacrifice for Bulma and Trunks (and he said Bulma name :D), I cried in that freaking scene :'( Stupid Toriyama making me love his characters.
Picture
Later after finishing DBZ, I watched DB then DB GT. I enjoy DB, it was different (caused I watch DBZ first) because it didn't have the same characters in DBZ like Vegeta (especially Vegeta :3) and...the other characters...
However... I didn't like DB GT. I was disappointed of the plot and how weak most of the characters were. And I didn't like that Goku became a kid... it was awkward and unnecessary. The only thing I like was that I got to see what they look like when they were older because it makes you feel special that you were there when you see the characters growing up :)

And then there was the movies... To be honest, I really like the movies, but it always frustrates me when I can tell when it took place from which arc, but other then that I love them. Especially, when the new movie is coming soon: Battle of the Gods!!!!! (I know I definitely need to talk about that)

Also, I watch the episodes of DBZ Kai and I liked that they told out the fillers (THANK GOD, I hate fillers) but that's all they ever did. They didn't redraw the animation and Nickoleon took over the show and deleted a lot of things like taking out the bloody scene and change some of the script. I wasdisappointed with that, but I was glad that they aired it back because DBZ will always be known for being an influence in my life.
